Exhibition Opening: The Life and Legacy of Christine Staruch

The Ukrainian National Museum invites you to a new art exhibition opening Friday, April 8, at 7pm, celebrating the life and legacy of Christine Staruch. Christine was a staunch supporter of Ukrainian culture and arts, who immigrated to Chicago after World War II. Later in life she became the owner of the Rose Gallery, where she organized exhibitions for artists, and developed an impressive collection of art. The show will feature works from her own collection, and Christine’s family has decided to donate the proceeds from the sale of the inheritance to charitable foundations benefitting Ukraine.⁠
