Synopsis:
Ghost island Taiwan vs. Hell Korea. The Taiwanese Korean mixed-blood high school boy LEE Gwang-Yong is now stuck in the middle. Born and raised in Korea, he is often bullied and insists on not speaking in Chinese; he regards himself as Korean. Back home, Gwang-Yong faces his father who has been working on fighting for the rights and interests for Hwagyo (overseas Chinese). From time to time, his father teaches him in Chinese to “don’t lose your roots.”
Despite the pressure in life, there is still a girl who does not care that Gwang-Yong is Korean. At a time when Gwang-Yong is striving for an overseas scholarship, an unexpected family incident suddenly occurs….Will he be able to win back his life against all odds?
