This new exhibition traces Wrigley Field’s journey from its 1914 origins as Weeghman Park to its current status as a National Historic Landmark, highlighting key renovations and its role in Chicago’s sports and cultural history.

Kick off baseball season with a noontime lunch-and-learn talk from Gunny Harboe, whose firm oversaw the restoration and expansion of the historic complex, and Grace Rappe, who led the design team responsible for the 1060 Project, which created new amenities for the Cubs ball club and improved the fan and pedestrian experience surrounding the stadium.

Note: This program will take place in our first-floor Chicago Gallery, near The Legacy of Wrigley Field exhibition. Guests are invited to spend a few minutes exploring the exhibit before the start of this informal talk.
